Please help stop the spread of COVID-19. If you have been in close contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend any school related activities or athletic events. Current public health and Reagan County ISD requirements include self-monitoring of symptoms and exclusion from all public settings such as school and/or school activities for 14 days since the last known exposure. If you experience symptoms of COVID-19 then it is recommended you should seek medical advice and isolate yourself from others for 14 days. A negative test result during the 14-day self-monitoring period does not suffice to shorten this required quarantine period. Thanks for helping keep our students and staff safe!

COVID-19 information is continuously changing, as are the protocols and measures needed to keep students and staff safe. Plans will remain flexible to accommodate potential changes and these guidelines may be modified as needed. As adjustments may be necessary throughout the coming school year, it will be our priority to keep the community informed of those changes and updates. Please see the updated plan here: https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/845501/Reagan_County_ISD_COVID-19_Back_to_School_Safety_Plan.pdf

On Friday, August 21st we received confirmation that three Reagan County High School students tested positive for COVID 19. We will notify the parents of students that might have been exposed to anyone that tested positive for COVID-19. A mask or face covering can help prevent your student from being exposed. We highly recommend that everyone wears a face covering when within six feet of others. If you suspect your child was in close contact with an individual that tested positive, we are asking everyone to be upfront and honest by notifying the school. Together we can prevent the spread of COVID-19!
