*Library visit*
Tomorrow, June 15th, we will take a trip to the library and will need all K & 1st gr. Summer School students to be picked up there at the Reagan County Library (300 Courthouse Square)at 12:00 pm. Thank you.
Summer Feeding starts today 6-1-21 through 6-24-21. Monday through Thursday. 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Children can come in through the cafeteria door on the South circle entrance and take the meal to go or eat in cafeteria.
Summer School students: You all will need to enter at the front office area. Doors will open at 7:50. We will take temperatures and masks are optional. Pick-up will be at the South entrance from the cafeteria. Thank you.
Unfortunately, Graduation will be moved to the auditorium. Doors will open at 7:40 for ticket holders. Admission for non ticket holders will be at 8:10. There will be 250 seats available for non ticket holders. Overflow will be in the cafeteria viewing a live stream.
No decision yet on Graduation. We will continue to monitor the forecast and keep you updated.
ATTENTION SENIORS: Please make sure you have everything you need for tonight as far as cap and gown are concerned. If you don't have it, you need to contact the high school ASAP. Please spread the word.
RCMS Academic Awards Ceremony will take place in the high school auditorium at 9:30 am. If you plan to attend, please leave the front rows open for the students. We will have all students in attendance.

Every year the graduating senior class purchases something for the school as a parting gift. The class of 2021 decided to donate their money to longtime RCISD employee Fina Hernandez. Today, the Seniors presented Mrs. Hernandez with a check in the amount of $6,900. SENIORS 2021!!!

FYI: Lunch will be provided or students may bring lunchboxes with them. Send your child with a towel to sit on, a water bottle to stay hydrated and sunscreen and a hat for protection from the sun. We will return to school after our lunch picnic. Thank you.

Wednesday, you will meet at the high school at 8:15 with your cap and gown for the Senior Walk at the elementary and middle school.
Seniors...no more pranks. You had your fun. Anything else done to the school or another students property will not be tolerated. You will loose your exemption and will not be able to walk on Friday!
It is NOT OK to do do something to somebody's property!
Reagan County ISD will not require masks at graduation. We highly recommend a face covering for any individuals with health or safety concerns.

If you have not filled out a school application for this school year, please do so before school gets out on Thursday. This will determine whether you get P-EBT benefits or not.
Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) provides food benefits to families with enrolled students (up to 21 years of age) who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals for the 2020–2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Who is Eligible?
• Students who are certified for free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
• Students who attend a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) or Provision 2 (P2) school that offers free meals to all students.
• Children born after August 1, 2014, in families who received Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for at least one month between October 2020 and June 2021.
Who Needs to Apply?
• A parent/guardian must apply if the eligible student is:
o Enrolled in K-12 and NOT part of a family who received SNAP benefits for at least one month between August 2020 and June 2021.
o Born on or before August 1, 2014, and is part of a family who received SNAP benefits for the first time during the 2020–2021 school year in May or June 2021.
• A parent/guardian does not have to apply if eligible student or child is:
o Born on or before August 1, 2014, and is part of a family who received SNAP benefits for at least one month between August 2020 and April 2021.
o Born after August 1, 2014, and is part of a family who received SNAP benefits for at least one month between October 2020 and June 2021.

Congratulations to Jaime Rios and Jaden Gonzalez! They were in the top 20 scholarship competition for Lincoln Tech which consisted of a test, portfolio, and interview. Jaime placed 5th and won a $10,000 scholarship and Jaden placed 1st and won a $15,000 scholarship!! Way to go!
