Every year the graduating senior class purchases something for the school as a parting gift. The class of 2021 decided to donate their money to longtime RCISD employee Fina Hernandez. Today, the Seniors presented Mrs. Hernandez with a check in the amount of $6,900. SENIORS 2021!!!

Wednesday, you will meet at the high school at 8:15 with your cap and gown for the Senior Walk at the elementary and middle school.

Seniors...no more pranks. You had your fun. Anything else done to the school or another students property will not be tolerated. You will loose your exemption and will not be able to walk on Friday!

Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) provides food benefits to families with enrolled students (up to 21 years of age) who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals for the 2020–2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Who is Eligible?
• Students who are certified for free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
• Students who attend a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) or Provision 2 (P2) school that offers free meals to all students.
• Children born after August 1, 2014, in families who received Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for at least one month between October 2020 and June 2021.
Who Needs to Apply?
• A parent/guardian must apply if the eligible student is:
o Enrolled in K-12 and NOT part of a family who received SNAP benefits for at least one month between August 2020 and June 2021.
o Born on or before August 1, 2014, and is part of a family who received SNAP benefits for the first time during the 2020–2021 school year in May or June 2021.
• A parent/guardian does not have to apply if eligible student or child is:
o Born on or before August 1, 2014, and is part of a family who received SNAP benefits for at least one month between August 2020 and April 2021.
o Born after August 1, 2014, and is part of a family who received SNAP benefits for at least one month between October 2020 and June 2021.

Reagan County Middle School students get out of school at 2:42 pm Monday-Wednesday and at 12:15 pm on Thursday. We will have the academic awards ceremony at the high school auditorium Thursday at 9:30. Have a GREAT summer!

Congratulations to Jaime Rios and Jaden Gonzalez! They were in the top 20 scholarship competition for Lincoln Tech which consisted of a test, portfolio, and interview. Jaime placed 5th and won a $10,000 scholarship and Jaden placed 1st and won a $15,000 scholarship!! Way to go!

SENIORS: FINAL REMINDER: To register for college, you must have a meningitis vaccine. If you wait until after graduation you will have to pay between $220+ . If you do not have insurance, you may go to the clinic here and pay $5, but it must be BEFORE graduation next Friday.
