Today Reagan County received their ICEV Industry Based Certification Wall Mount. Last year Ms. Beeson's Agriculture Science classes received over 60 industry based certifications! These range in all aspects such as Floral Design, Veterinary Medicine, Livestock Selection and Equine Management. We are so proud of the time put in by our students and skills they acquire. The Reagan County Agriculture Department is constantly growing and providing new opportunities for our students. Go Owls!
If you are an aspiring computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other computer science related field major with a high school cumulative GPA of 2.3 or higher, the AFE program is accepting applications through December 19, 20224 at 3:00pm. The AFE Program is so much more than a scholarship! The Amazon Future Engineer program will award 400 students up to $40,000 each toward college expenses, paired with opportunities to be a paid intern at Amazon. Congratulations to Coach Stark for being selected by Texas Tennis Coaches Association for 2A Assistant Coach of the Year. Coach Stark has been coaching at Reagan County for 4 years. He has been working alongside Coach Tracy Tatum-Smith, his own tennis coach and mentor. He has helped Coach Tracy Tatum-Smith coaching high school along with middle school. They together have had many players qualify for the regional tennis tournament and state tennis tournament. Also, each year have qualified for the state team tennis tournament and competed well against the best teams in division 3A.
